The clear-down night exists because an event finishing at eleven cannot be cleaned before a three o'clock arrival the next day. It is not an upsell; it is the arithmetic.

- The house from ten in the morning until ten at night
- Both kitchens, the dining table at ten places and the garden table at ten more
- The night after, so that nobody is clearing plates at eleven o'clock
- Chairs for twenty-four at the tables and for another twenty in the garden
- A changeover clean of the whole house afterwards
Worth knowing. Twenty-four at the tables is twenty-four, not twenty-six. The parlour holds sixteen seated and the garden the rest, which means a wet Saturday in October is a different party from a dry one.
