When somebody answers, and when you may arrive

These are two different facts and the house keeps them apart on purpose.

The hours a person answers the telephone — not the hours you may arrive
Monday to Friday	9:00am - 7:00pm
Saturday	9:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday	10:00am - 4:00pm

Those are not arrival hours. Those are the hours somebody answers the telephone, not the hours you may arrive. Arrival is by keypad and the code works from three in the afternoon on the day of arrival until eleven the following morning, whatever the hour. Nobody meets you at the door, and nobody is in the building overnight.

Woodside Guest House Woodside, NY · three apartments

A restored house of 1912 on 61st Street in Woodside, four minutes on foot from the station and about thirteen minutes from Penn Station on the commuter railroad. It is let as three self-contained apartments, each with its own front door, its own key code, its own kitchen and its own bathroom — or as one house sleeping eleven in five bedrooms, with the garden and both kitchens, for a family gathering, a small wedding, a corporate day or a shoot. Booking an apartment takes the whole house off the calendar and booking the house takes all three apartments off it, because it is one building. The price is the nightly rate plus one cleaning fee and there is nothing added at the end. There is no front desk, no porter, no daily housekeeping, no restaurant and no lift; arrival is by keypad at any hour and nobody sleeps in the building. The house does not hold a liquor licence, nobody here can conduct a marriage, and the elevated line is four minutes away and audible from the front of the house — each of those has a page rather than a discovery on the evening you arrive.
